The project company, intended to hold the datacentre project rights.
Talonex is the project company (SPV) for a proposed 150 MW green datacentre and AI infrastructure campus in Kenya. It is intended to hold the project rights, financing arrangements and operating contracts.
To provide scalable infrastructure that helps customers host critical data and deploy demanding compute workloads in Kenya.
We develop capacity in stages, with power, cooling and connectivity planned together around customer requirements.

Investors, advisers, technology providers and operators participate under defined mandates and project agreements.
Governance and responsibilities are set through the final investment agreements.
A disciplined, demand-led lifecycle transitioning from feasibility study to operational capacity.
| Step | What it delivers |
|---|---|
| Site and feasibility | Land and utility terms, environmental work and a defined Phase 1 scope |
| Engineering and customer commitments | Detailed design, anchor specifications and commercial agreements |
| Investment and construction | Approved financing, procurement packages and construction oversight |
| Commissioning and expansion | Integrated tests, customer acceptance and demand-led capacity release |
An initial proof-of-concept hall will inform expansion. Later phases depend on contracted demand, utility capacity and funding.
Talonex intends to build environmental and social considerations into project design and delivery.
We will evaluate energy performance, water demand and cooling options, and track renewable energy and battery lifecycle requirements.
We will complete site-specific assessments, stakeholder engagement and permit planning before construction commitments.
We will focus on suitable procurement opportunities, workforce training and skills transfer through delivery partners.
Through Barwasim’s partnership with SIC, Talonex draws on experience in campus development planning and power-supply assessment for Project Savanna, a 100 MW development in Konza Technopolis (2 × 50 MW planned phases, in development). That experience informs:
